All,
We are about to undertake a substantial file review on behalf of a large
client. To help us complete this task, we are looking to recruit up to
twelve staff for the next 2 – 3 years. These staff will be required to
conduct the reviews across a wide range of files and plans. These reviews
must be carried out in accordance with the Public Records Act and other
relevant legislation and guidance from The National Archives (TNA). We will
provide training as required to ensure the high standards of quality and
output are maintained.
Applications are invited from candidates who have the ability to assess the
relative importance of files and recommend the appropriate disposal option.
Once accepted, these recommendations will determine which files will go to
TNA or County Records for preservation and also which files will be
destroyed. The ideal recruit is likely to have a background in records
management gained within the public sector. Experience of file
registration and the ability to absorb relevant material quickly is also
important.
A flexible package of pay and hours is available to suitable candidates.
Additional incentive allowances will be paid for quality and performance.
If you are interested and have suitable experience of this type of work,
please send your CV in the first instance to Kara Lombard, Iron Mountain
(UK) Limited, HR Department, 3rd Floor Cottons Centre, Tooley Street,
