Dear Colleagues
A book edited by Michael Moss and me and published by Chandos may be of interest. Entitled 'Record keeping in a hybrid environment', the book is aimed particularly at records managers and archivists in mid-career. Our objective is to enable busy practitioners to get an over view of developments in theory and practice over the last 10 to 15 years. Topics covered include: the transition to the digital; EDRMS; security; risk management; the legislative and regulatory environment; digital preservation; archival appraisal; a new approach to the description of records; archival digitisation; and the function of archives.
When I checked on Amazon this morning, there were just two copies left - but I am sure they will get some more stock.
