You may remember me from other social marketing lists such as Soc-mktg

(http://socialmarketing.wetpaint.com/). I'm Dr Stephen Dann, ANU's
resident senior marketer, social marketing lecturer/researcher, and
specialist in arguing with anyone over a definition of marketing.
I'm currently researching across a broad range of commercial, nfp and
social marketing issues, specifically involving productive ageing,
volunteerism in sport, road safety and an ongoing work on the impacts of
the AMA (2004) redefinition of commercial marketing on the subdisciple
of social marketing.
For those of you able to attend ANZMAC
(http://www.anzmac2006.qut.edu.au/), Marie Louise Fry and I will be part
of a special session titled "(Re)Igniting the Fire: Identifying and
Facing the Challenges of Social, Non Profit and Political Marketing in
the Era of Services Dominant Logic". On that note, I'll be speaking on
behalf of the internet based social marketers, so if you've got
suggestions as to issues and challenges facing any one of the three
areas, drop me a line.
