Judging by the stories associated with Koepe machinery in Mining Review (the
NCB's film magazine) I would suggest that this is dated roughly 1955/6. I
can't find any references to the Bradford Colliery, but there are stories
about Koepe winders in Snowdon Colliery in June 1955, Kinneil Colliery in
April 1956 and Thoresby Colliery in September 1956.
All this information is available at www.bufvc.ac.uk/cinemagazines using a
simple search 'Koepe'.
