New Research Guide on ‘Reparations, Reconciliation and Forced Migration’
This research guide provides an overview of issues around reparations
and reconciliation in the context of armed conflict and forced
migration. It reviews types and mechanisms of reparations, legal
provisions and the role they play in wider peace processes. The research
guide also examines key concepts, theories and political issues behind
truth and reconciliation commissions. Examples are drawn from numerous
countries including Bosnia & Herzegovina, Guatemala, Rwanda, South
Africa and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. http://www.forcedmigration.org/guides/fmo044/
