Call For Papers: Post Graduate Research in Economic Geography.
At the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers
San Francisco, April 17-21st 2007
Organisers:
Jennifer Morrissey - University of Oxford
Louise Ashley - University of Oxford
Finding it hard to find your place on the Agenda of the AAG? Desperate to
present but not sure where you fit in? This session is being organized by two
postgraduate researchers who feel the same way! The aim of this session is to
provide postgraduate researchers the chance to present their work and generate
discussion about their research.
We welcome papers within the general topic of economic geography and the range
of papers we will consider is very broad. However, we are particularly
interested in research on geographies of working life and research on young
people's experiences of changing labour markets.
If you are interested in presenting at this session please send an abstract of
250 words or less to Jennifer Morrissey ([log in to unmask]) by
Friday October 20th 2006. If we accept your abstract (and I hope we can!) we
will be in contact with further details on registering by Saturday 21st October.
Information on the AAG -
Paper Sessions consist of 5 papers or 4 papers and a discussant. Each paper is
expected to conform to the 20-minute time limit (organisers note, if we receive
a lot of abstracts we will organise two sessions).
