University of Brighton - Research Fellow (0.6 full time equivalent)
£28,010 to £33,465 pro rata
Two Year Project
Working as part of a dynamic research team you will play a leading
role in a Department of Health-funded research project examining the
information and communication practices and technologies involved in
the self management of obesity in the local community. You will
explore the social and community uses of information and
communications technologies. You should have a good working knowledge
of social science research methods and previous experience of working
independently on health-related and/or community-based IT projects. A
relevant degree, postgraduate qualification, MPhil/PhD or equivalent
qualification or relevant work based research experience is required.
As the project is based within social informatics, applications would
be welcome from candidates who have experience of interdisciplinary
