This is the official website of UK Conservative Party leader David
Cameron. It focuses stongly on current events, hosting David Cameron's
own blog, presentations and interviews with guests and an interactive
section where members of the public can post questions. It is an
excellent starting point for tracing discussion about Conservative party
politics , recent political events and Tory policy. The site also
contains a brief biography of Mr Cameron, plus video, image and RSS
newsfeeds of his recent activities.

(SSRC) which was founded in 1923 and remains an independent, non-profit
organization based in New York City. The website has gathered a

This site provides access to a collection of materials relating to
Iran's nuclear weapons programme, policy and capacity which have been
prepared by staff of the Institute For Science and International
Security (ISIS). They include research articles, assessments of
technical capability and some satellite photographs of nuclear
installations. Also provided are links to publications from other key
bodies such as the International Atomic Energy Agency. Materials
generally date from 1992 onwards.

The African Activist Archive Project is based at The African Studies
Center at Michigan State University. It is working to preserve
information about American organisations and activists involved in the
struggle against apartheid during the period 1950-1994. It also includes
anti-colonialist movements relating to South Africa, Namibia and Angola.
The website provides fress access to a directory of archives, with
descriptions of their holdings. It also offers direct access to
digitised image and multimedia resources from their holdings. These
include photographs, badges and political posters. Other features of the
site include transcripts of some oral histories and interviews with
individual activists.

The Barry Amiel and Norman Melburn Trust was founded in 1980 to advance
public education on the philosopy and practice of marxism, history of
socialism and the working-class movement. Its website hosts an extremely
useful free Internet archive of socialist articles and papers. These are
fully searchable by subject keyword and include materials from the
Universities and Left Review 1957-1959, New Reasoner 1957-1959 and
Marxism Today 1980-1991. Also accessible are transcripts of annual
lectures, reading guides for students and information about forthcoming
conferences and events.

record of the foreign policy and diplomatic activity of the United
States and provides access to many declassified US government and
intelligence documents. This volume examines US policy towards China
during the administration of Richard Nixon 1969-1972. It offers the full
text of approximately 175 documents relating to the work of President
Nixon and Henry Kissinger in opening up relations with the Peoples
Republic of China and Chairman Mao.

This site provides free access to a searchable digital library of full
text publications from the government of Hong Kong. These include the
Administrative Report, Hong Kong Sessional Papers, Hong Kong Hansard and
Hong Kong Government Gazette. It is possible to read parliamentary
papers, official publications, government department reports and
legislative materials online. The full range of domestic and foreign
policy issues are covered these include items of great interest to the
political, social and economic history of Hong Kong and its foreign
relations with China and the UK. Users should note that many documents
are in PDF format.

The Nuclear Files project is part of the National Science Digital
Library. It is an educational website created by the Nuclear Age peace
foundation which seeks to educate and raise questions about the science
and ethics of nuclear energy and weapons. It includes a chronology of
key nuclear events, a glossary of key terms and acronyms, biographies of
nuclear scientists and policy makers, full text primary resource
materials (including Nuclear Arms treaties and correspondence from
scientists involved in the Manhattan project). There is also an
educator's section with suggested lesson plans and resources for further
reading. Topics covered include: the basics of nuclear science, the
creation of the Atomic bomb and the decision to drop it on Hiroshima,
the arms race, nuclear disarmament, nuclear energy and its ethics.

American Coalition (HAC). It is creating an online archive of oral
histories and personal memories of the 1956 Hungarian revolution. This
emphasises the courage of ordinary people and political activists

University. It provides useful tips on literature searching skills and
preparing a dissertation at undergraduate level. It also includes
chapters for lecturers on supporting students and plagiarism. These
include case studies of good practice. There is also a glossary of terms
and bibliography of further reading.
