I have my own query today, a rather different one from Joanna's:
I was in Boise, Idaho over the weekend, and a number of grad students
were rumoring this to me, wondering if it was true... So I'm curious if
anyone knows whetehr there in fact has been a kind of internecine
factional split within Flarf of late: I.e., the dogmatic, stern "Red
Flag Tendency" of Gary Sullivan, Michael Magee, Nada Gordon, Kasey
Mohammad, Ann Boyer, et.al. on the one hand; on the other, the more
Buddhist and non-aggressive/compassionate "Million Poems Tendency" of
Jordan Davis, Jim Behrle, Gabriel Gudding, et.al.?
God, I hope this isn't turning into some kind of Surrealism-like
organizational internecine implosion, where people are getting
excommunicated by Bretonish post-avant Popes... Flarf is too young for
that...
