I tend to agree with Richard. I'm not clear why a product specific
list should need to be HE only, or FE only. A Moodle list would,
presumably, be about Moodle specific features, which would be common
to both FE and HE. This list, the VLE list, was originally set up to
be more about general issues, the pedagogy. But again, surely that
is common to both FE and HE?
There is always a worry with lists that there can be too many, and
not used. I would guess that the vast majority of Jiscmail lists have
a very short life, and are inactive. One of the great strengths of
this list is that it is busy, has been going some years now, and
encompasses a very wide range of people. It would be a shame to dilute that.
