some other interesting facts might be:
- what form it's going to be available in
- roughly how one will go about installing it
- how it will be advertised when it's available
- what kind of support, if any, will be provided
(e.g. you do/don't want to hear about bug reports)
- what the prospects/uncertainties are for further releases,
maintenance, development, support in the future
- roughly how big an installation will be
I'm not suggesting that a hugely detailed paper on the topic is
called for, it's just that I think most people have no idea that
work is continuing in any form on this software post-starlink,
so giving ex-starlink managers a chance to find out about it
(including 'obvious' points) and discuss it while they're together
would be a good plan.
