Hi All,
Mediasurface are getting confident! Regarding where we are with the product we recently installed a development server with the latest version of Mediasurface, version 5.4, www.mediasurface.com . So far it appears very slick and we will be evaluating then rolling it out over the next few months.
I think it would be worth having a session with them as any CMS vendor being grilled causes me much amusement, not sure if the SAC would be allowed as we may have too many questions! If anyone wants to discuss our experiences with Mediasurface then just get in touch?
Cheers,

Subject: CMS Offer
Folks,
I recently met up with some people from MediaSurface. They are looking to build on their work with SAC and expand further into the education market and so were picking my brain.
They've offered us the chance to take a very close look at their latest offering of which they are very proud (the words I used were would they let me try to break it ;-) ).
Is anybody interested in this? What I suggested was a session whereby we tried to convert one of our existing institutional designs onto the CMS while keeping an eye out for any of the irritations / bugs we've encountered in general web management / CMS use across our institutions. Not a sales pitch. This would take place outwith our normal meetings as MediaSurface wanted to do it sooner rather than later.
Please respond if this is something you'd like to try out.
Regards,
Duncan
