Robin, what are you trying to say? I am not sure....BUT

I remember talking to someone some time back, we were tallking about the 
Nazi war camps like the Auschwitz . He said that the research done on the 
camps on human subjects, although cruel and inhuman, had advanced the field 
of modern medicine so much....i was thinking 'what a skewed logic' but....

research no given to military can be given to research in other areas. i 
think internet would have still existed if it was not for the military, in 
fact, maybe we would have a better 'internet' technology...funded by the DOP 
(Department of Peace) not DOD.
