The Arts Management Program at the University at Buffalo is a new and
dynamic interdisciplinary program in the College of Arts and Sciences, and
the Schools of Management and Law. The intention of UB's Graduate Arts
Management Program is to equip students to become effective arts managers.
The curriculum is designed to increase the student's ability to identify
and solve the complex, interdisciplinary problems and tensions that are
inherent in the areas of arts management and cultural policy making. This
two-year program is highly committed to attracting an international student
body.
We are seeking an individual with a proven record of experience and
accomplishment in the areas of Arts Management and Cultural Policy. Ph.D.
and demonstrated potential for research and university teaching experience
is required.
Duties: In consultation with the Director of the Arts Management Program,
assist in student advisement, student recruitment and course development,
including coordination of external special programs, practica, internships,
and partnerships. Teaching responsibilities will include two courses per
semester.
