which the first line is:
"When I was a King and a Mason - a Master proven and skilled - "
("Quand j'étais un Roi et un Franc-maçon - un Maître revelé et habile" -
version (très) littéral )
The last line, after he abandons his works, is "After me cometh a
Builder. Tell him, I too have known"
