Colleagues,

Here is the re-branded round-up for September. It was suggested that
"Regional Round-up" sounded like it could be a review of events that had
already happened, so I have come over all "Snakes on a plane" and
settled for "Forthcoming events by region". Same old content, same old
presentation, just a new name!

Of course the main event is our very own conference - Engage: HCI 2006
Conference at Queen Mary, University of London, 11-15 September,
http://www.bcs-hci.org.uk/hci2006/

Be seeing you.

Daniel Cunliffe (BHCIG-BCS regional liaison).

-- BCS BRANCH EVENTS SEPTEMBER --

Except where otherwise noted ([#]), these are BCS, BSC Specialist Group
or BCS branch events.

Full details of the following events and last minute notification of any
changes can be found on the individual Branch websites.

BCS Branch events are generally free for both BCS members and
non-members, but some events are charged for and some require
pre-booking, so please check. Note that location information refers to
the organising Branch, not necessarily the location of the event.

Remember, these events typically count towards BCS CPD, 0.5 CPD units
per hour, or 0.75 units per hour for workshops.
