Dear All
Following the discussion yesterday at the UKI monthly meeting I know
that some of you have been trying to join the dteam VO via VOMRS. I was
perhaps not explicit enough in the meeting - the VOMRS service is
currently down due to an Oracle problem that is being investigated -
please see the message below. This broadcast should have reached
everyone but it may not have done - let me know. I'll make sure a mail
goes to this (TB-SUPPORT) list once the service is back up. I am not
able to approve any existing requests until that time so sorry for the
delay.
Kind regards,
Jeremy

We need to, temporarily, shutdown vomrs on lcg-voms.cern.ch which hit
Oracle bug 2508682 described in https://metalink.oracle.com as follows:
> ****************************************************************
>
> Under very heavy load a session may end up using the wrong shared
cursor
> if concurrent sessions are all executing the same statement but use
> different versions of the statement (eg: for different schemas).
> Eg: If different users all issue the same INSERT statement into a
> privately owned table then under heavy load one of the sessions
> may end up using the wrong shared cursor and may insert data
> into the wrong schema table

> Fully qualify object names.

We will publish the service restart on http://cic.in2p3.fr a.s.a.p.
Apologies for the inconvenience
