Management for Information Professionals (20 credits)
Subjects studied on this module include strategic overview, business
plans and project management, change management and leadership within
the context of information management. The module provides students
with the skills required to be effective managers and leaders, as well
as effective Information Professionals.
JANUARY 07
Complying with Information Legislation: Principles and Practice (20
credits)
Scrutinises the principle pieces of information legislation currently
in force in the UK, assesses their requirements and examines techniques
used by practitioners.
Wider Legal Frameworks (10 credits)
Examines the synergies between information legislation and other
relevant legal frameworks.
Concepts in Information Rights (10 credits)
Examines the conceptual basis of information rights law in the UK to
foster a more sophisticated understanding of the subject.
