Very sorry to hear about your illness, Alison. I'm not surprised that
you got tired of running this list - I joined in 1999, was forced by
internet failure to leave in April 2000 and returned later that year to
find you co-running the show after John Kinsella's departure, so you've
been at it for 6 years - long enough, as you say. Thank you for the
time, intelligence and savoir faire you invested in this motley crew.
There have been quite few swings and roundabouts over the years, haven't
there? So that leaves Randolph at the helm, as I had already guessed and
hoped, co-owning with, I trust, a representative of manunkind's better half.
It's not goodbye, is it? Perhaps you'll even appear on the list more
frequently than of late.
