This is interesting
I wonder how one *shares one's voice whilst concentrating on personal
experience - it's a limited sharing
When they speak of "personal experiences, not politics", they offer a false
antithesis. I am all for ignoring "politics" in the processed form we are
often offered it. But Politics as such is something quite other than that,
an engagement with community and an emphasis upon sharing and cooperation at
a civic level
" describing their personal experiences to a relatively small audience of
readers" is fine at the personal level; but it isn't Sharing as opposed to
sharing. It assumes an interest rather than generating or reaching out to
others' interest. It is an assertion of the priority of the personal; and
that is a political position
"Blogs make it easy to document individual experiences, share practical
knowledge, or just keep in touch with friends and family." seems to me
undoubtedly true & the data about the parcatise is sociologically
interesting
but it seems an odd use of words like "creative" and "artistic"
