Thought I'd spoken too soon, for a moment, but this seems to be another
one of the odd glitches that we see from time-to-time. Some missing
directories that should clearly be present, in any sane system.
Looking at the cron log, I see messages like:
cvs checkout: [04:03:21] waiting for ussc's lock in /home/vmwareshare/cvs/applications/figaro/fighelp
cvs checkout: [04:03:51] waiting for ussc's lock in /home/vmwareshare/cvs/applications/figaro/fighelp
cvs checkout: couldn't stat lock directory
`/home/vmwareshare/cvs/applications/figaro/fighelp/#cvs.lock': Stale NFS
file handle
cvs checkout: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/home/vmwareshare/cvs/applications/figaro/fighelp'
cvs [checkout aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
Same for GAIA. So clearly the NFS copy of the CVS checkout is failing for
some files.
