University Lecturer (Non-Clinical) in General Practice
in the General Practice and Primary Care Research Unit
An outstanding medical sociologist or anthropologist is invited to join the 5* General Practice and Primary Care Research Unit. Appointment will be to the retiring age subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period.
The post-holder will lead a programme of research that complements and extends the Unit's programme on the prevention of chronic diseases and their consequences. He/she will also be expected to make a leadership contribution to the social science teaching strand for medical students and to supervise Masters and PhD students.
Salary will be on the scale £31,525 -£39,935 per annum.
