Rather than waste time on getting councillors to vote on issue they have no right to vote on, maybe CILIP should make time to monitor what's going on on LIS-CILIP and find out what really concerns members at grassroots level. And in time, they might even be able to convince the non-members and ex-members on LIS-CILIP that being a member of CILIP ain't so bad after all. Doesn't look likely to happen any time soon, though, by the looks of things...
