I strongly suspect CILIP is a registered trade mark, so they can say who can
or cannot use it. Even if it not a RTM, there is the common law action of
"passing off" which makes it an offence to pass off your goods or services
as someone else's. Such an action could succeed as it is likely that many
people would assume that if CILIP is in the name, the list is endorsed or
run by CILIP.
