Hello Dan and all --
Chris McIntosh's book is the survey I always recommend. Only about 150 pages, but
not conspiracy theories or wishful thinking.
The Rosicrucians: The History, Mythology, and Rituals of an Esoteric Order (ISBN:
0877289204)McIntosh, Christopher. Currently in print with Red Wheel Weiser. It is
not that recent, though, being published originally, I think, in 1987.
Best wishes,
Christina

a good, recent book in English on the history of the Rosicrucians that is not by
Yates? That seems to cut down the possibilities considerably. Thanks,
