Dear Barbara,
Very nice to have met you at the textual studies seminars in De Montfort a couple of weeks ago. I've tried to join ESTS since then through the website, but to no avail (the link for membership doesn't seem to work, or at least not from my computer). Would it work for me to fax you the membership form w/ credit card information, or send the membership info via e-mail?
Thanks, and hope you're enjoying the rest of the summer.

Dear Colleagues,
Marta Werner has asked me to forward you this message.
It would be great if many of us could make it to STS next March. It
is likely to be --as always-- a very exciting conference.
Best,
