butbut, you have written "the cathedral", implying that this place had only
one cathedral, dedicated to SS G. & P.
Orleans (Roman AURELIANUM), did, indeed, have multiple collegiate churches
(that belonging to St. Aignan being perhaps the most prominent), and it also
has only one cathedral, but that is dedicated to Ste Croix.
