At the recent WLCG Tier2 Tutorials & Experiment Sessions at CERN that
had many Tier 2 members present, you may have noticed some information
about D-cache releasing source RPM's. The agenda is here
http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceTimeTable.py?confId=a058483
The Session is here
http://indico.cern.ch/sessionDisplay.py?sessionId=0&slotId=0&confId=a058483#2006-06-15
And the specific slides are here
http://indico.cern.ch/materialDisplay.py?contribId=9&sessionId=0&materialId=slides&confId=a058483
see page 7.
This may not be 100% clear on licencing terms but it seems that source
RPM's will be available for next release of D-cache, although I think
some details still have to be finalised. We now have a clear commitment.
Please also note Greig's talk explaining what we need from D-cache, it
does seem that quota's are needed.
If he missed anything please let us know on the list.
Regards
Owen
