Dear all,
I'm writing to invite anyone who might be in the vicinity of Bristol on
the 10th July to come along to my inaugural lecture and the lanuch of the
new Centre for Leisure, Tourism and Society (CELTS) at the University of
the West of England. The lecture, which takes place at 18.00 in 2B020,
with tea and coffee served beforehand, is titled 'Marking Difference or
Making a Differece: Constructing Places, Policies and Knowledge of
Inclusion, Exclusion and Social Justice in Leisure, Sport and Tourism'.
The lecture and launch will be followed by a wine reception and buffet
supper and the more feminists the better!
The events of the 10th take place the evening before the Leisure Studies
Association Annual Conference which we're hsoting here at Bristol, UWE on
the the theme of 'Making Space: Leisure, Tourism and Renewal' from the
11th-13th July.
Feel free to contact me if you're interested in attending any of these
events and I can provide pdfs with more details.
Many thanks,
Cara
