Apologies for cross-posting: the first WiP seminar is this week. A high
turn-out would set a good precedent, so please come along for the
presentation and the wine afterward.

Leif Isaksen (Southampton)
Network Analysis of Transport Vectors in Roman Spain
ALL WELCOME
The seminar will present the results of a new approach in analysing the
ancient Roman itineraries. GIS and Network Analysis software were
combined to model regional route patterns in southern Iberia. The
conclusions reached bring new light to bear both on the nature of the
itineraries and the importance of transport geography for Roman town
locations.
The seminar will be followed by wine and refreshments.
