That's a useful entry,to which I'll point those of my colleagues (un)fortunate enough to be involved in tagging learning objects. A couple of minor points on the web resources:
* Splash - this link gives a DNS lookup error for www.edusplash.net, though this might be a temporary fault.
* The HEA RLO cataloguer's handbook (http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/Cataloguing_handbook.doc ) is IMO quite a well-written and accessible guide for newbie cataloguers, and although it's specific to RLLOMAP that itself is derived from the UKLOM Core, which itself is derived from Cancore, etc etc, so it could still be useful for any LOM cataloguer. I don't know if it's ok to stick non-HTML links into Wikipedia pages, though. The book link is hosted on http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/2782.htm

Hi all
Would anybody care to look at the Wikipedia entry for 'LOM' and comment/edit as appropriate?
Available at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learning_object_metadata.
It would be interesting to see the level of collaboration in restructuring the article.
Regards
Neil
