Hi Sam,
I work with Refugees and Asylum Seekers based within social services Team for
unaccompanied minors in Newcastle. My role involves direct and indirect
clinical work with young people and carry out initial assessments on new
arrivals to refer into CAMHS or signpost to other agencies as appropriate. The
young people who do have families are often referred via G.P.
