Hi Chris
Don't blame me!
I was actually looking for a reference to justify why I don't do this
(which I am still sure I have read somewhere - anyone??) rather than
suggesting we start.
That said, I can see why being able in some way to quantify how many
burials etc were at a site might be useful.
Perhaps some more thoughts could be given to the IFP suggestions which
differentiates between recording Elements (Post holes, ditches, hearths
etc ie bits of archaeology) and Monuments (the interpretation of these
elements as eg an IA Farmstead). Its on page C.9 if your interested.
If your not interested, sorry, but believe me HER audits are even
duller than this....even if they are very useful.
Suppose I better get on with it
best wishes

Tanja,
When you revisit this, bear in mind what is reasonable.
1300 inhumations were recently excavated from a single site in the
city. This is recorded as a inhimation cemtery. I refuse to create
additional 1300 records!
