Temporary post for one year.
We are looking to recruit an Outreach and Education Officer to deliver the educational and outreach objectives of the Norfolk Heritage Explorer Project. This will include the development of web-based and printed learning resources, leaflets, displays, outreach activities and work with volunteers to complement the work currently in progress on the Norfolk HER database (to put the Norfolk HER online as the Norfolk Heritage Explorer).
You will have a degree in archaeology from a UK university, a sound knowledge of British archaeology and at least one year's previous relevant experience of outreach or educational work within an archaeological or museum environment.
Norfolk Landscape Archaeology is responsible for safeguarding Norfolk's archaeology, recording, conserving, interpreting and providing information and advice on the historic environment. See www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk <http://www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk>.
