And I second that nope.
Dave, if you want to write strict Iambic Pentameter, that's fine by
me. What I can't abide is people telling others what should and what
should not be poetry. You become a gatekeeper yrsel in doing so.
I like the fact that this list is a place where you can present works
like Lawrence's (and yours - don't forget that Dave - you get the
chance to present and be included as well) and not be shouted at least
until you started shouting.
And, come to think about it, my poetry bears more than a little
resemblance to the work that L presents here. And a few others on this
list do *not write IP. So what are you going to do? Decry everyone who
doesn't write poetry like yours? That means a large part of
Poetryetc...
Leave it out, mate.
