Thanks, Edmund, for supplying this www.
When I woke up this morning to find a barrage of "Norm" responses -
initiated by the indomitable Dominic - I got the mistaken impression that
Pascua Lama was a fraud story perpetuated, I could only imagine, by a
demonic graduate graduate - of an MFA program. The story has great and
purifying images glaciers, water, real farmers, and evil guys, including
Bush the father. And there was righteous Dominic calling us suckers out!
Thanks for restoring the apparent fact that story and conditions are true.
The fact that it had been forwarded to me by Norma Cole - a poet that I know
and trust in these matters - made me want to forward it.
Now that clarity has cleared my morning fog. I realize Dominic - and others
- were in opposition to this kind or form of petition, the pyramiding.
Instinctively I, in fact - if you did not notice - had not put my name at
the bottom of it.
Anyway, Edmund, I appreciate the fact that you have put the disgrace of this
potential gold mind back on the stage - including the apparently legit web
based petition. I will appreciate if we don't have to further cloud this
real situation with ranting about pyramids, and another kinds of internet
damage plots.
Speaking of much more interesting pyramid schemes there is a terrific story
today about the discovery of a 1500 old mummy of a Peruvian princess found
in a recently uncovered pyramid - resplendent in both jewels, as well as
weaponry - the latter considered unique to such discoveries.
