Lecturer in Business Economics in Central and Eastern Europe (Post Ref. BEC06)
The Department of Social Sciences at the School of Slavonic and East
European Studies, University College London, invites applications for a
full-time permanent Lectureship in Business Economics to start on 1st
September 2006 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Applicants should have completed a PhD in a relevant area, and will have a
strong grounding in Economics; the potential to sustain a top-rate research
record; excellent teaching skills; experience of teaching at University
level, ideally in the British educational system; and well developed
organisational and teamwork skills. Academic staff appointed by SSEES are
expected to have a working knowledge of at least one of the languages of the
region.
The annual salary will be in the Academic Grade 7 scale range: £30,410 to
£33,006 (inclusive of London Allowance) in the first instance.
