Job Summary
The BC Centre for Disease Control, in affiliation with the University of
British Columbia, is currently recruiting for a Post-Doctoral Fellow

areas: the ethical norms that regulate proteomic research in drugs and
vaccines for emerging infectious diseases; the development of ethical
frameworks to respond to the needs of public health where there is
market failure, the influence of biotechnology on public perceptions of
the use of proteomic research in policy responses to pandemics, and the
trade-offs that must be made in such policy responses.

great public health importance, ensuring competence in emerging
infectious disease control is continually available at times of urgent
