Lectureship in Renaissance/Early Modern European History
For this post, replacing Professor Kate Lowe, the successful candidate will
be expected to teach a one semester course on the Reformation and
Counter-Reformation and a full year course on European history c.1560-1800.
They will also be jointly responsible for a one semester first year course
entitled "Old Worlds, New Worlds: Europe 1400-1600" and be expected to
contribute to the teaching of a new MA on Medieval and early Modern
Religious Cultures in Europe. In addition they will be required to
contribute to general departmental duties.
