Dear Mahendra and all,
The AHDS has been running as a digital repository in the arts and humanities
for 10 years.
Our collections are available from
http://ahds.ac.uk/collections/
Our Collections policy is at
http://ahds.ac.uk/documents/collections-policy-v1.pdf
A significant number of our resources result from research and could be
defined as research sets. However, the definition of a research set is
probably a bit more ambigious in the arts and humanities. Ie we also hold
numerous digital collections which are created for multiple purposes -
reference, research and teaching and learning.

Subject: List of Research Data Set Repositories
Colleagues
I have just started compiling a list of OAI research data repositories
and would like to know if any of you know of any, i.e. repositories with
research data in them.
I am particularly interested in those repositories that have purely all
research data, though I would still include others that contain other
types of materials as well.
So far I have used OPENDOAR (using Research Data Sets category) and ROAR
(database category) my very basic list at the moment comprises of:
Purely Research Data Sets
Southampton Crystal Reports (UK, England)
http://ebank.eprints.org/perl/search/simple
Research Data Sets as well other types of materials
CURATOR - Chiba University's Repository for Access to Outcomes from
Research (Japan)
http://mitizane.ll.chiba-u.jp/curator/index_e.html
Demetrius (Australia)
http://dspace.anu.edu.au/
IAI-DIS (Brazil)
http://mercury.ornl.gov/iai/
Leiden University Repository (Germany)
http://openaccess.leidenuniv.nl/dspace/
American Mineralogist Crystal Structure Database (US)
http://rruff.geo.arizona.edu/AMS/amcsd.php
Crystallography Open Database (France)
http://www.crystallography.net/
Database of Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and chemistry of
minerals (US)
http://rruff.geo.arizona.edu/rruff/
Geological Data Center (US)

Demos in development:
Grade (UK, Scotland)

Any help would be appreciated and I will feedback results back to the list.
