Lectureship in Economic Geography, School of Geography, Politics & Sociology, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
£27,194 - £30,607 per annum
Based in the School of Geography, Politics and Sociology, a temporary lecturer in Economic Geography is required. Geography at Newcastle is a large, highly regarded and vibrant research-orientated grouping within the School of Geography, Politics and Sociology. Candidates will be expected to contribute to first and second year courses on Economic Geography and contribute to the geography tutorial programme. We seek applicants with/near completion of a PhD and a developing research profile including the ambition to publish regularly in leading international journals; to raise research funding as required and to contribute to emerging research agendas in economic geography.
The post is available for 2 years from September 2006.
