Kezia

Thanks for those kibd words. Have in in my heart to try and educate those in
power and auithority around 'neurodiversity' and disabiltly issues, that
impact on all disabled people and those who are 'neurodiverse too' and those
who experience mental distress locally, natationally(UK) ( Hull and East
Riding of Yorkshire) around the globe( through the UN Disability Convention
and other forums) and this is that I've been doing for years and as you and
others know I've suffered a lot of personal-abuse for doing so, but the
'GOD' I believe in willl try and protect me and enable me to 'speak-out'
('wwhistele-blow') on all forms of oppression in the UK and global world.

I know that Adrian, Co-Chair of DANDA wants to have an emialed dialogue with
you and I discussed your last night on the phone with him and 'we' both
agreed that the WAO need to start to understand and be 'educated' around
'neurodiversity' and the social-model' and that the terminolgy 'autistic
spectrum disorder/conditions' is being rejected here in the UK and USA and
many of the old-school medical model ideologies have now been challenged by
'us' within the 'neurodivesity' and disabled people's movements and it's
time that the WAO and Autism Europe and NAS and other Charities who state
they represent our voices, then start to change the attitudes and behaviour
and start to include our 'voices', within 'Nothing about us, without us'.

Did you know that Pual Shattock is the patron of DANDA? Did you know that
DANDA, who is the only 100% neurodiversity/ disabled people's'user-led' run
and controlled organisations have not been offered a platform at the WAO in
South Africa, so 'OUR' voices have been totally 'excluded'.

This WAO can not bee endorsed within the UN Disability Convention and
international law and protocols without a representative voice from DANDA. I
have asked Adrian to discuss this with Paul urgently and also called upon
the WAO to address this issue immediately if they endorse 'inclusion'.

I haveb put forward two names from DANDA who should speak on the stage at
the WAO conference, they are Adrian Whyatt and also Jo Todd, Key4Learning.

I am willing to go and be interviewed by Vicky Debold at AutismOne Radio and
I'm sure Adrian, Jo, Paul and other would join me in this debate around
'neurodiversity' and the issues above raised.

I also spoke with Linda fron UK Disabled People's Action Network(DAN)
yesterday about your case and she is going to email you and I with some
contact details which may be offer support to enable you to get funded at
the WAO Conference.

Keep up the good-work and try and keep smiling :-)
