Title: Usability Research Officer, Oxford e-Research Centre
Grade: RS1A, £20044 - £30,002 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Duration: Three year contract
Applications are invited from individuals to work on the EPSRC funded project 'Embedding e-Science Applications – Designing and Managing for Usability’. Applicants should have a strong background in the social sciences and/or computer science with expertise and interest in research on the role of information and communication technologies in e-Research. Proven experience or potential in the conduct of social research on technology is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate a capacity for working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The OeRC is looking to recruit a post-doctoral research assistant to work in the newly formed Oxford e-Research Centre under the supervision and guidance of Dr Marina Jirotka and Sharon Lloyd. The post will be for three years in the first instance. There will be opportunity for the successful candidate to work on grant proposals and projects developing from the areas of research, with the potential for reappointment.
