Adam Lee of BBC Information and Archives has asked me to announce the soft
launch of the experimental prototype of the BBC Programme Catalogue.
It is a version of the BBC's internal catalogue and gives various details
on program content contributors etc. Academics will find it of great
interest.
This is a first effort at a public catalogue and the BBC want us to
explore the system, so they can refine it. I will pass on any comments you
might have. Below is the link and some of the information from the welcome
page.

DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Anything to listen to or watch... Sorry, but the programmes themselves are
not available. Info about every single BBC programme, ever. It's a vast
catalogue, but it's not comprehensive. A guarantee of accuracy. We're very
proud of it, but we know there are mistakes.
