Dear All
Please be aware of this closing registration. I am sure everyone going
has already got everything sorted but if not this is a last opportunity
to do so.
Once you have registered the team at CERN will ensure that a temporary
visitor's pass is available for you at the main reception. If you arrive
out of hours (including over the weekend) you will need to collect your
pass (and if you are staying in the hostel your key) from the main
entrance security gate - the last stop of bus number 9 (with destination
CERN). It is best to ensure you have some form of photo ID with you such
as a passport. If you have not been to CERN before I suggest you talk
through your arrival with a colleague who has!
I will send out further details and a reminder closer to the event.
Kind regards,
Jeremy

Subject: Registration for Tier2 workshop and tutorials closes this
Wednesday, 31st May 2006
Importance: High
This is a reminder that registration for Tier2 workshop and tutorials
closes this Wednesday, 31st May 2006.
It is important to have a clear view of the numbers that are attending
for logistics - the number of seats in the rooms is limited (about 160
in the Council chamber) and the number of coffees will be based on the
list of people registered.
More importantly, visitor passes will only be requested for those people
who have registered up until the deadline (123 so far). (Similarly
requests for visitor portables).
Please note that you must register seperately for each event (assuming
that you wish to attend of course).
-- THIS INCLUDES ALSO PEOPLE FROM CERN / THE EXPERIMENTS WHO ARE
NORMALLY PRESENT AT CERN --
Cheers,
--
