Dear NGN,

If you are doing a presentation at Cosener's House, you may want to
write a 4 page paper and submit it to LCS - The London Communications
Symposium. It is an informal venue, but there is a peer-review process
and the Proceedings are published.

Call for Papers and Information about the keynote speaker below.

  Best Regards,
     Miguel

LONDON COMMUNICATIONS SYMPOSIUM 2006
14th - 15th September 2006
http://www.ee.ucl.ac.uk/lcs

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 30th of June, 2006 (Note the slightly earlier
date !!)

Dear All,

This year we have an excellent Keynote Speaker for LCS: Matt Beal, BT
Wholesale's Director for 21st Century Network Converged Core &
Capabilities. He will talk about BT's 21st Century Network programme
which is widely regarded as the most ambitious and radical network
generation programme in the world.

The London Communications Symposium aims to provide a student focused
meeting for postgraduate researchers (PhD, MRes, MSc and those recently
graduated in industry) to present recent work in areas in and
supporting communications. The event offers an environment for young
researchers to present to their peers that is more relaxed and informal
than many other international meetings. All papers must be original
work and will be subject to peer review.

The online paper submission site will be activated soon for this years
event with the deadline for submission as the 30th of June. Papers must
be a maximum of 4 pages in length and can be submitted in either MSword
or pdf format.

The support for last years event was excellent, with representatives of
a large number of UK universities and a number of international
organisations. Information about recent symposia is available on the
LCS website. http://www.ee.ucl.ac.uk/lcs/ .

If you have any questions regarding the event please feel free to
contact the organising committee ([log in to unmask])

We look forward to seeing you all at LCS 2006.

Regards,

  Miguel Rio,
  LCS Organising Committee Chair
