I've made a bunch of changes to nearly every file in PERIOD. I replaced
all writing of the ASCII BEL character with a new function called
PERIOD_WRITEBELL() (which could've been done using ERR1_BELL(), but wasn't
for some reason... :-) ), replaced the double precision DO loops with DO
WHILE loops (double precision DO loops were removed from FORTRAN-95, so my
g95 build failed on these), and replaced a couple of instances of file
unit number instansiation with FIO_GUNIT().
It builds fine for me using g95 on OS X, and the changes should be fine
for f77 as well.
Cheers,
Brad.
