ANNOUNCEMENT
Photographs of miners and mining communities in Appalachia are
featured in "my daddy was a miner," the newest web exhibit on
LaborArts.org . Builder Levy, photographer and New York City school
teacher of at-risk adolescents, has visited photographed mining
communities for over three decades. The web exhibit displays fifteen
of his photographs spanning the years 1968 - 1982, in a retrospective
dedicated to the twenty-four miners who died in Appalachian mines in
early 2006. Visit the exhibit at laborarts.org
