medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Doctissimi,
In medievalchurch.org.uk I read: [Peter the Venerable's] burial was beside
his comrade, Henry of Blois, Bishop of Winchester, within the church at
Cluny." Given the fate of the abbatiale at Cluny, does anyone know where
Peter's final resting place is/was? Or were his remains likely scattered by
those quarrying the church for its stones?
Thanks for any help.
MG
