Dear All,
I am organising a Galician Studies panel for the forthcoming conference of the Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland.
The first Galician Studies panel has just been held at the 2006 conference in Liverpool and has been a great success. For more details see:
http://www.vieiros.com/nova.php?Ed=1&id=49489
Members of the Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland are invited to submit papers of 25-30 minutes on any topic that falls within the area of Galician Studies.
If you are interested, please send me proposals of 150-200 words as soon as possible and no later than August 31st 2006.
I will then revise these and put together a suitable panel. Panels consist of four speakers and a chair.
If you are not a member, then membership can be easily arranged and in some cases it is permissable for non-members to take part.
Best wishes
Dr. Craig Patterson
